Writing as a Prayer

Writing is like a prayer, only I’m not asking for anything.⁣
⁣
I pour out my experience, I entangle all those confusing and sometimes scary thoughts and feelings, and can see them a bit clearer for what they are: wiggling worms!⁣
⁣
I need to let them out and let them go, to set them free. So that they in turn can release me as well. ⁣
⁣
This feeling of relief once they’re out and I can breathe again, enjoying and savouring the white emptiness in my head.⁣
⁣
But not for long…⁣
