Writing as a Prayer
Writing is like a prayer, only I’m not asking for anything.
I pour out my experience, I entangle all those confusing and sometimes scary thoughts and feelings, and can see them a bit clearer for what they are: wiggling worms!
I need to let them out and let them go, to set them free. So that they in turn can release me as well.
This feeling of relief once they’re out and I can breathe again, enjoying and savouring the white emptiness in my head.
But not for long…
